Shenzhen, China—Evomotion launched its Wunder360 C1 entry-level 360º camera as well as the Wunder360 S1 AI camera. For consumers, the Wunder360 C1 incorporates professional-grade camera technology. The company also announced its “360º capturing does away with the extremely limiting viewfinders and lens angles of traditional cameras.”

The Wunder360 C1 is geared for anyone from novice photographers and outdoor enthusiasts to professional photographers and extreme-sports athletes. It enables users to produce edited video clips with click-to-play in-camera capturing and editing features.
Along with the new consumer camera, Evomotion introduced ViewPilot software technology. The technology was developed to empower anyone without a professional knowledge base to create pro-like video clips. Users can capture panoramic 360º full scenes. In addition, flat clips focusing on selected people or objects can be automatically generated from 360° footage with a few swipes or a tap. Moreover, Evomotion’s smart stabilization algorithms help keep videos framed as well as sharper and smoother.

With its compact form factor, the Wunder360 C1 captures 4K still pictures as well as 3K 30-frames-per-sec video with in-camera stitching. It also records 1080p video at 60 fps with in-camera stitching.
Moreover, it gives users the ability to manually or automatically generate highlight-focused flat videos. Additional features include: smart EIS (electronic image stabilization); time lapse/fast shooting/timer modes; and in-app editing for social sharing and live streaming. For AR and VR developers, Evomotion’s Wunder360 S1 artificial intelligence, dual-lens 360° camera provides 3D reconstruction
and real-time in-camera stitching. Its deep learning AI technology permits AR/VR developers to develop 3D content.
With the compact S1, users can capture their environment and transform it into 3D models to create AR/VR content. Moreover, gamers can download their 3D models and import them into games like Minecraft.
The camera’s in-camera stitching also allows VR/AR developers to create immersive content without additional photo-stitching software.
