Atlanta, GA—Unibind, a Peleman Industries company, was honored with its third Pacesetter Award at a breakfast hosted by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

Brigitte Peleman-Vantieghem, CEO, accepted the honor on behalf of Peleman Industries, Inc. According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, “Only the fastest-growing private companies earn the powerful Pacesetter designation and the invaluable attention that goes with it.”

Peleman-Vantieghem commented that Unibind’s “dramatic growth across continents” has resulted in a change of status for the Atlanta-based group, making Atlanta the Americas headquarters beginning this year.

“We are so proud to have been selected a Pacesetter recipient, again! It is gratifying to obtain this affirmation that our passion for pleasing customers is not going unnoticed among our special neighbors here in our hometown,” she said.

The “fastest-growing” requirement for Pacesetter recognition is reflective of Unibind’s changing status worldwide. “Our focus on customer needs, and finding innovative ways to meet those needs with new products and technologies, has resulted in superior partnerships and strong sales throughout the Americas,” Peleman-Vantieghem explained.

She also cited examples of corporate (Berkshire Hathaway and Coldwell Banker), photo (DCP and Kodak) and retail (Target and Walgreens) partners. “This turned the worldwide executive team’s eyes to Atlanta. They saw that we needed to distribute operations to provide technology and service quickly and cost-effectively.”

The company plans to soon add manufacturing and another R&D team at the Atlanta location.
