Hilary Araujo, an imaging industry figure for four decades who was the Tiffen Co.'s vice president of marketing since 2004, passed away on April 14 after a short illness, the company said. He was 65.
In his career, Araujo also worked for Conrad Photo, Berkey Marketing Co., GMI and Tocad before arriving at Tiffen.
“Besides being a dear friend and a great colleague, Hilary was devoted to our company and will be sorely missed,” Steven Tiffen, president of The Tiffen Company, said. “He made so many contributions to our company, our industry and was a dear friend to all, this is a great loss.”
Araujo is survived by his wife Sandy and daughter Susan. His funeral was held Sunday in Woodbury, N.Y.
