Panasonic had added several new models to their Lumix line including the 10x Optical Zoom Lumix DMC-TZ3. Featuring 7.2 megapixel resolution, the TZ3 also features a 28mm wide-angle LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens, Intelligent Image Stabilization, a 3.0-inch LCD, and a compact, stylish, stainless steel body. Expect an MSRP of $349.95.
Also new to the line is the Lumix DMC-FZ8, featuring a 12x optical zoom (equivalent to 36-432mm on a 35mm film camera) coupled with Panasonic’s Extra Optical Zoom function that provides additional magnification up to 18x when taking photos with 3-megapixel resolution. The new camera also features a 7.2-megapixel CCD and Intelligent Image Stabilization system. Expect an MSRP of $349.95.
