Microsoft is at work on a 3D camera meant to work with the Xbox 360, helping the console compete with the Nintendo Wii, the Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday.
The camera would work similarly to the Wii’s motion-detecting controllers, except that it does not require in-hand hardware. The Journal’s source said that the product will probably not arrive until next year, although it may be demonstrated at the E3 event in June.
