Companies such as International Supplies, Albumprinter, Digital Spectrum, Pentax and Pantone have all recently signed on for the Picture Business/Consumer Electronics Association Spotlight on Imaging event at CES 2008. Distribution specialists International Supplies will be bringing several of their vendors with them including CamGrip, Motion Systems, Purosol, Allen Sports and Built NY.
Pic Biz and CEA have teamed for this important event in the hopes of adding a better sense of digital imaging community at the annual Las Vegas show in 2008. That effort has produced an event slated for day two of the show, on Tuesday, Jan. 8, dubbed Spotlight on Imaging 2008. To be held at the Renaissance Hotel and running from 2-7 p.m., this compelling event will feature a tabletop exhibit area spotlighting some of the hottest DI products at the show from many of the industry’s top manufacturers. In addition to this, there will be a digital imaging educational session focusing on tapping into the new digital imaging revenue streams that exist today for dealers. The session will also examine how has today’s digital imaging consumer has changed from. Attend this session to hear about opportunities for the photo book, kiosk, retail and online print markets from industry leaders. The session begins at 3 p.m.
The event will culminate with the CEA Digital Imaging Division reception from 5:30-7 p.m., a great networking opportunity in a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere. Organizers are billing the event as a one-stop shop for digital imaging attendees at CES and an event that should be the perfect “touch-point” DI exhibitors have longed for at CES.
