We have always had a thing for the low to no-tech gadget and a recent one from Stockton, California-based CamGrip caught our attention, as well as our affection. It’s a new camera, camcorder accessory that basically amounts to nothing more that a thin, black handle that screws into the tripod mount on the bottom of the camera, providing the user with a steadying grip for shooting. We have found the item particularly useful when using the extended zoom on many of today’s point-and-shoot cameras as the handle lessens camera shake by steadying the hand. The CamGrip was designed with a non-slip plastic that is environmentally safe and very durable.
