3M has added automatic face and text detection to its Visual Attention Service, a web-based scanning tool that digitally evaluates the impact of creative and graphic designs.
The suite of enhancements for the 3M tool also include a mobile application for the Apple iPhone, a plug-in for Adobe Photoshop, an ability to test key areas within a creative design, and new pricing options.
The new Adobe Photoshop Plug-In enables users to run an analysis inside of Photoshop CS5 in order to evaluate a design during the creative process. The mobile application further simplifies workflow and enhances accessibility to the VAS tool by allowing users to upload images and conduct a test using their iPhone.
