Ronkonkoma, NY—Sigma Corporation of America is offering two new Global Vision Lens bundles: the 150–600mm f/5–6.3 Sports lens and TC-1401 1.4x teleconverter bundle and the 150–600mm f/5–6.3 Contemporary telephoto lens and TC-1401 teleconverter bundle.

Expanding the focal range from 150–600mm to 210–840mm f/6.3–9, the new bundles offer Canon, Nikon and Sigma camera users more configurations and shooting options when investing in Sigma.

“These bundles are ideal for photographers—both professional and enthusiast—who continually seek out longer ranges and want more options for their shooting style,” said Mark Amir-Hamzeh, president of Sigma Corporation of America. “Sigma’s high-performance telephoto offerings cover the range of photographic scenarios from professional sports to nature and more. Combined with the Sigma 1.4x teleconverter, customers have even more options with the same great performance they have come to expect from Sigma.”

Sigma bundled products can also be purchased individually, giving customers four 150–600mm f/5–6.3 product choices to meet their photographic needs.

The Sigma 150–600mm f/5–6.3 Sports lens is engineered with superior optics and durability for fast-paced, high-action photo scenarios. The 150–600mm f/5–6.3 Contemporary lens is a versatile lens that offers similar performance in a more compact and lightweight design. Performance capabilities common to both telephoto lenses include two-mode optical stabilization, an enhanced autofocus algorithm, a hypersonic motor for quiet, fast focusing, and zoom locking at all marked focal lengths and performance.

The compatible Sigma TC-1401 1.4x teleconverter is also dust- and splashproof. Supporting autofocus up to f/8, the teleconverter incorporates an SLD (special-low dispersion) glass element to maintain “the exceptional image quality of the Sigma telephoto lenses with excellent aberration correction,” added Amir-Hamzeh.

Additional Sigma Bundle Opportunities

Sigma customers can also take advantage of the new Sigma dp Quattro camera line and LCD viewfinder bundle for the dp1 Quattro, dp2 Quattro and dp3 Quattro. Enhancing camera ergonomics, the Sigma LCD viewfinder cuts off outside light, magnifying the LCD display by more than two times. This allows photographers to check the focus more easily.
