San Jose, CA—Polaroid’s new line of easy-to-use automobile dash cameras is now available in the United States. The dash cams provide creditable documentation of events that occur on the road, acting as a personal eyewitness, while safety features and warning systems provide an extra level of security for drivers.
The cams are also designed to “add a new element of fun to summer road trips and even the daily drive.” With a dash cam in place, drivers are always in a position to capture unexpected moments when behind the wheel. They can then instantly share those moments with others through their social channels.

Polaroid in-vehicle dash cams, offered by Giinii, an authorized Polaroid licensee, record in Full HD 1080p. A built-in G-sensor automatically saves a recording when a collision is detected, providing an accurate record when an event occurs. All models are equipped with a mini USB car charger and mounting bracket, a rechargeable lithium ion battery, and a mini SDHC card slot to accommodate up to a 32-gigabyte card.
Additionally, select models include such features as a lane-departure warning system and speed limit indicator to help prevent incidents from occurring, and a GPS tracker to record incident location and speed.

This model offers a GPS tracker; 2.5-inch color LED display; 156º wide-angle coverage; photo mode; auto recording; automatic collision and motion sensor for emergency recording; continuous/loop recording; and a lane-departure warning system plus speed control limit indicator.
