Well, as you can already see from the image of the W90, this is a digital camera that can take a beating. Either that, or a lot of folks at PMA forgot to wipe their shoes before they came in.
Among the very cool feature set of the W90 is the ring of LEDs around the lens to help with close-up shots, Yeah, and it’s clearly designed to withstand the elements as well. The company also announced the 12.1-megapixel X90, which isn’t quite as compact and also isn’t built to be dropped in the mud but it does pack a 26x optical zoom in a DSLR-esque body. Digicam design continues to evolve.
