Casio America last week announced three new cameras, part of its Exilim line. The cameras, the Zoom EX-Z300, Zoom EX-Z250 and Zoom EX-Z85, will be available in October.
The 10.1 megapixel Zoom EX-Z300 comes equipped with HD Movie recording, allowing for 1280×720 pixel video recording, as well as a “makeup” function that allows easier photography of faces. The camera will comes in silver, black and pink and retail for $299.99.
The 9.1 megapixel Zoom EX-Z250 also features the “makeup” function as well as the Engine 3.0 “imaging engine” that allows for better and faster image processing, which it shares with the EX-Z300. The EX-Z250 will come in silver and black and retail for $249.99.
The Zoom EX-Z85, also 9.1 megapixels, is compact, and is also capable of high-definition photographs. Available in brown and orange, the camera will retail for $179.99.
