Atlanta, GA—Unibind, a supplier of binding and personalization for printers and offices, will showcase new products during drupa. Unibind will be in Hall 5, D41, during the show, which takes place May 31 to June 10, 2016 at the Messe Düsseldorf.
“Presentation solutions must keep up with the quality and cost-effectiveness of the beautifully produced materials now coming out of in-house and in-plant production facilities,” said Unibind CEO Brigitte Peleman-Vantieghem. “New production tools available are better than ever. Organizations are able to produce high-end materials using excellent web to print, as well as stand-alone, publishing systems. The results are such that many companies traditionally using outside production resources are now bringing those jobs in-house.
“We invite our customers and drupa attendees to come see how Unibind’s newest products will serve these expanding markets, and fit into every environment, saving valuable time, money and inventory space.”
Drupa attendees will have the chance to see the company’s following technologies at the Unibind booth.
Unibind Foil Stamping Machines
The UniFoilPrinter is a digital printer that can be used to replace or complement the traditional foil stamping process. An easy-to-use software package is included to help customers produce books and prints. The UniFoilPrinter can print text, drawings and logos directly on flat, smooth, semi-smooth and coated surfaces, without using a die.
Available colors that can be combined in one print include silver, gold, red, blue and black. In the latest software release, there is also an import function for PDF files.
UniPaper is a newly available, treated paper offered in both 120 gms smooth (white) and 160 gms smooth (white). The paper is said to afford documents “a high-quality look and feel.” UniPaper complements the company’s UniCover system for producing photo books, presentations, reports, proposals and contracts.
With UniPaper, bound documents lay perfectly open for easy viewing. This lay-flat effect also allows for a panoramic view over the two side-by-side pages.
The UniCover system’s built-in crimper is engineered to enable users to professionally bind materials by creating a precise fit around the documents. The Unibind UniCover system is compatible with existing stock covers, making the switch to this system seamless.
