Phoenix, AZ—Wide-format printer maker Mutoh is celebrating its 60th year of business. The Tokyo-based corporation has aggressively expanded across the globe with the goal of evolving into the forefront of the wide-format printing industry.

Mutoh Industries, Ltd., founded in 1952 in Tokyo, began as a manufacturer and distributor of mechanical drafting products. Since then, Mutoh has become a manufacturer of wide-format printers with worldwide reach. Mutoh was a pioneer in the 1980s with its CAD plotters and earned a reputation within the architectural and CAD/CAM industries for their speed, accuracy and quality.
