Cypress, CA—Mitsubishi Electric, Visual Imaging Systems Division, launched the updated Click software version 4.2.1, which includes several improvements to the software. Click is a professional photography system that “helps photographers make a qualitative leap forward in their business.”

Using Click, photographers can manage multiple printing equipment at the same time. Moreover, they can make multi-format adaptations; order double-sided prints; and receive jobs online from any mobile device. “Click is the ‘all-in-one’ solution that will fast forward your business directly into the future. In just one click!” the company announced.

New Click Features

Among the software’s features is a long-requested clone tool for general photo-editing purposes. Along with other general improvements, services images can now export to the root of the selected folder.

In addition, a brand-new version of the Photo ID service is available. It adds face detection/auto framing; e-mail sending; a new background subtraction edition tool; newly added settings; updated compositions files; and simplified apply and transfer picture steps.

Moreover, users an export high-res images with configurable resolution. Also new are automatic brightness & contrast, saturation, RGB balance and levels (histogram) tools. Manual edit tools are now on a single screen: B&W, sepia, red eyes, brightness & contrast, automatic levels, RGB, clone and rotation. The software also shows the original photo and the different versions that were generated. What’s more, improved images preview allows for easier navigation through current pictures.

In addition, the management module provides a print order manager with everything in view. It shows the status of the printers as well as orders for PhotoPrintMe; it also manages consumable levels.

The Click updates also comprise some new hardware improvements, such as mouse+keyboard wireless.

Click products include direct prints, copies, calendars, greeting cards, albums and passport photos. Additionally, PhotoPrintMe in Click allows users to create from an online catalog of products from anywhere, such as miniprints.
