Q. How does the Nikon Z mount open up new frontiers in lens design and control?
A. The Z mount was built with a priority on superb optics and image quality. The inner diameter of the Nikon Z mount measures an impressive 55mm. It also has the shortest flange focal distance, measuring a mere 16mm between the bayonet mount and the sensor.
