New York, NY—Rokinon is offering the 14mm f/2.8 and 85mm f/1.4 prime lenses for full-frame Nikon Z mirrorless cameras. The fast Z-mount lenses boast precision manual focus control and are the company’s first lenses for full-frame Nikon Z system cameras. Rokinon is one of the largest brand of DSLR and cine camera lenses.

Both Z-mount lenses sport a new exterior design with a contemporary look that matches and handles well with Nikon’s full-frame mirrorless cameras. Each lens has a metal chassis; weather sealing; and a metal aperture control with a slip-resistant matte finish. In addition, they employ Rokinon’s Ultra Multicoating technology.

The new ultrawide-angle 14mm Z-mount lens provides a dramatic rectilinear 115.7° view that can focus as close as 11inches. As a result, it can create images with a feeling of depth and space. In addition, the lens is an option for astrophotography, landscapes, extreme sports, interior and real estate imagery.

Moreover, its 14-element, 10-group design utilizes four highly specialized elements: high refractive index, hybrid aspherical, aspherical and extra-low dispersion. They produce sharply defined images with minimal distortion and chromatic aberrations.

Another features is the lens’s built-in petal-shaped lens hood. It also comes with a rear gelatin filter holder. The 14mm f/2.8 full-frame Z lens retails for $499.

Its optical design consists of 9 elements in 7 groups. It includes one hybrid aspherical element to reduce chromatic aberrations for increased clarity and sharpness.

In addition, features include a removable lens hood; a rounded 8-blade diaphragm to create pleasing bokeh; and a nonrotating 72mm filter mount for easy use of polarizing and other filters.

Moreover, the Rokinon short telephoto for Nikon Z mirrorless cameras is an option for travel, candid, portrait and close-up photography. The 85mm f/1.4 Z-mount lens carries a retail price of $399.
