Circuit City this week announced that it has begun rolling out test locations for its new store concept known as “The City.” The stores, will have a different layout, color scheme, lighting and interactivity from standard Circuit City locations, the AP reported.
Circuit City also said they will open 60-65 stores in the next year, some of which will be traditional and some of which will use the “City” concept. More new stores will come in 2009, as the company continues its comeback from massive layoffs and store closings earlier this year.
