Valhalla, NY—Fujifilm North America Corporation launched its new GetPix Quick photo kiosk. The platform specifically allows retailers to offer photo printing from mobile devices without the need for consumers to use cables or a dedicated app.

Building on the previous iteration, GetPix Quick offers more capabilities to make printing photos on the go easier. In addition to its space-saving countertop and pedestal options, Fujifilm announced new hardware configurations. As a result, retailers of any size have the opportunity to provide this printing service to customers.

“As innovators in photo printing technology, we are excited to bring the new GetPix Quick kiosk platform to the market,” said Manny Almeida, president of the Imaging Division at Fujifilm North America Corporation. “With its ability to offer extremely easy access to mobile images, GetPix Quick will continue to allow consumers to print and preserve their memories easier than ever before.”

Adding a the kiosk not only creates a new revenue stream for business owners but may also increase the time customers spend in a store location, added Almeida. Moreover, with regular software updates, the system is kept up to date for smooth performance.

Smartphone photographers can upload their images to mygetpix.com and visit a GetPix Quick photo kiosk of their choosing. Once at the kiosk, they enter the code received after uploading their images. They are then ready to print their photos.

Utilizing Fujifilm’s ASK-300 dye-sublimation printer, the kiosk platform prints photos in a matter of seconds. The photo kiosk offers a variety of photo sizes, including 4×6, 5×7 and 6×8 inches.

In addition, hardware sets up quickly and registering the unit is easy. Two setups are possible: at full pedestal height or at counter height with the ASK-300 printer behind a counter or at another compact location.

Moreover, payment with any major credit/debit card is now an option via Square; payment via Apple Pay and Google Pay also now available.

GetPix Quick kiosks are available for preorder, with units shipping mid July 2019. Pricing starts at $1,499.00.
