Davie, FL—Fastbind USA debuted its new Express Mini and Express Plus in North America at the International Print + Imaging Conference, July 20–23, 2015, in Henderson, Nevada.
The Express Mini and Plus are ultracompact, portable bookbinding systems. The Fastbind Express Plus combines four Fastbind binding solutions into one machine: FotoMount binding; BooXTer binding; creasing; and case making. If case making is not needed, the Fastbind Express Mini has the three main solutions.
The system is designed to easily produce digitally printed hardcover photo books, lay-flat photo books and/or lay-flat mounted albums, up to 12×12 inches. The system binds both single-sided and duplex prints. Using Fastbind’s new mounting wall system, operators can bind single-sided prints and create a premium 180º lay-flat FotoMount album. For double-sided books, they can use the BooXTer staple/stitch binding to bind duplex prints into durable books.
