Sony has announced the release of a new (alpha) DSLR camera, the SLR-a560, along with two other new cameras, the a33 and a55. All three feature Multi-frame Noise Reduction, Sweep Panorama and 3D Sweep Panorama modes. The company also announced three new A-mount lenses.

The SLR-a560, which is 14.2 megapixels, sports Sony's Quick AF Live View, and will be released in October at an MSRP of around $750.

“These new lenses and camera show our commitment to the DSLR market and that we will never stop innovating. These products complement our overall Sony Alpha lineup, which we are significantly expanding today,”  Kristen Elder, director of the Digital Imaging business at Sony Electronics, said as part of the announcement.

“The camera offers a choice to those consumers who want to gain the benefits of professional level shooting speed as well as be able to capture video with in a traditional style DSLR.”
