Denver, CO—Pentax Ricoh’s Q10 mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera is now offered in 100 different color combinations that consumers can customize to express their individualism.

Once a Q10 order is placed, the individual color specifications will be sent to the Pentax manufacturing facility where each camera will be hand built to reflect the personalized selection made by the consumer who ordered it. Pentax notes, “The experience of customizing, ordering and receiving the finished product is unparalleled in the photo-imaging industry.” This will be accomplished thanks to Pentax’s supply chain management process, its committed team of customer service reps and its progressive retail partners.

Consumers can mix and match body and grip colors by visiting the Q10 Studio at pentaximaging.com, where they can define the color combination to complement their own style. Additionally, Adorama will display the full line up of Q10 colors in their retail location.

The Q10 incorporates a back-illuminated CMOS sensor engineered to deliver low-noise 12.4MP resolution and a top sensitivity of ISO 6400. An upgraded AF algorithm and new high-sensitivity image sensor were designed to enable faster autofocus, even in dim lighting or with a telephoto lens. And an AF-assist light is provided to optimize focusing accuracy in the dark, while face recognition AF automatically detects 12 faces and pinpoints focus on a main subject.

Other features include: a 3.0-inch LCD; nine smart effect modes accessible via an assignable quick dial (they can be previewed on the LCD); a custom image function; 19 built-in filters that can be applied to photos and video; Full HD video capture (H.264, 30 fps); continuous shooting at five images per sec; shake reduction; and a built-in auto flash (GN 7, ISO 200/m).

The Pentax Q10 in 100 color combinations comes with the 02 zoom lens. $599.95. pentaximaging.com
