Denver, CO—Pentax Ricoh Imaging Americas is now offering the weather-sealed, coldproof, dustproof K-30 DSLR in nine new colors. Available in a shiny crystal or matte silky finish, the 15 total color choices allow photo enthusiasts to add some personal style to their photo arsenal.
Targeted at photographers and outdoor enthusiasts, the Pentax K-30 sports a compact, lightweight body that is weather resistant and houseshigh-end DSLR features. These include: a glass prism optical finder with 100% field of view; an image processing engine optimized for HD video capture, smooth live view, low chromatic noise and low energy consumption; an advanced SAFOX IXi+ autofocus system, with an AF assist lamp and light source detection sensor; sensor-shift shake reduction for image stabilization; and Full HD 1080p video capture capabilities at 30 frames per second (60 fps for 720p) with h.264 compression, flexible exposure control and HDR finishing options.

Other features include: a 3.0-inch, 921K-dot LCD with brightness and color adjustments; 77-segment metering system; ISO settings as high as 25,600 for low-light performance; a 6-frames-per-sec continuous shooting mode; traditional shooting modes featuring Pentax sensitivity priority (Sv) and shutter and aperture priority (TAv) for flexibility; and automatic modes like auto picture and scene modes that take the guesswork out picture making.
The Pentax K-30 DSLR is available in the following colors: crystal black, crystal bordeaux, crystal green, crystal red, crystal silver, crystal yellow, crystal orange, silky blue, silky bordeaux, silky green, silky red, silky silver, silky white, silky yellow and silky orange.
