New York City, NY—B&H Photo Video launched its Unboxing Video contest, asking videographers of all levels to capture a short video of a B&H package being unboxed and enter to win a DSLR or one of two shoot-and-share camcorders. Any video capture device is welcome.
The grand prize is a Canon EOS 5D Mark II DSLR (body only) featuring a 21.1MP, full-frame 35mm-format (24×36mm) CMOS sensor, which captures image files as either JPEG, RAW and RAW+JPEG files. The camera also incorporates Canon’s Digic 4 imaging processor, which works in concert with a high-speed DDR-SDRAM buffer to ensure quick performance and fast image-processing times. The camera has a full-resolution frame rate of 3.9 fps, improved battery life, improved image quality at all ISO sensitivities, faster start-up and reaction times, and improved noise suppression at ISO sensitivities ranging from ISO 100 to ISO 6400, plus its sensitivity is expandable from ISO 50 to 25,600.

In addition to being waterproof down to 10 feet, this latest generation Playsport is now dustproof and shockproof. It’s equipped with built-in electronic image stabilization to counteract blurry footage, smart face tracking to capture everyone in the frame in focus, and low-light capture capabilities.

It features 4GB of internal memory, which is good for recording up to two hours of HD video, 5 megapixel still photo capture, auto macro, SteadyShot image stabilization, a 2.7-inch screen that rotates its orientation automatically, a flip-out USB arm for connecting to PCs, preinstalled software to tag movies for uploading to social media sites.
