Las Vegas, NV—Think Tank Photo designed the Retrospective 15L backpack for adventure travel photography. This classic rucksack features rugged yet form-fitting canvas that is treated with DWR to repel the elements.
In addition, a zippered security flap under the lid tucks away to provide top access; the back panel also offers full access to gear, including a 15-inch laptop.

Think Tank Photo Retrospective 15L Features
The backpack is soft and form-fitting with a minimalist outer appearance. It provides 20L of total storage: 15L of enclosed space plus an additional 5L for personal gear in the front pocket. It also has a dedicated pocket that fits up to a 15-inch laptop.
In addition, it has a configurable main compartment for camera gear or personal gear, as well as a tripod attachment on the side or front panel. Other features include: two collapsible water bottle pockets; an organizer pocket; a zippered pocket for small items; an adjustable sternum slider; and also a removable webbing waist belt.
Moreover, the pack is able to fit a standard DSLR body; a mirrorless camera system; a 70–200mm f/2.8 lens attached; additional 24–70mm f/2.8, 100mm or 105mm f/2.8 macro lenses; and a flash unit.
The Retrospective 15L’s exterior is made of water-repellent (DWR) coating with a polyurethane coating; sand-washed 100% cotton canvas; nylon webbing; and 3-ply bonded nylon thread. It also features YKK RC Fuse (abrasion-resistant) zippers and antique plated brass hardware.
The pack’s interior comprises closed-cell foam and PE board reinforced dividers; 210D silver-toned nylon; a polyester 300D two-tone twill ripstop liner; polyurethane-backed velex liner and dividers; a 2x polyurethane-coated nylon 210T seam-sealed rain cover; and 3-ply bonded nylon thread.
What’s more the pack has interior dimensions of 11.4×13.8×5.5 inches and exterior measurements of 11.8×15.9×7.1 inches. The backpack weighs 4.0 pounds, including all accessories.
