WYNIT, Inc., announced Wednesday that it is assuming all technical and customer support for Smartparts products. That company, a provider of digital photo frames and other related accessories, announced earlier this month that it was shutting down.

"WYNIT has applied significant resource to ensure that Smartparts customers have the support they need to resolve any technical or defective product issue," WYNIT Chief Operating Officer Pete Richichi said as part of the announcement.

"Resellers and dealers can direct any concerns through their specific WYNIT sales representative… and we have re-directed all inquiries from the Smartparts Website and toll-free numbers to dedicated technical support personnel at WYNIT corporate headquarters."

WYNIT will also continue to sell Smartparts products from its remaining inventory.
