Austin, TX—Photodex, a publisher of photo and video slideshow tools, released a new version of ProShow Web with features and enhancements that help users create and share video slideshows online with more precision and control than before.
Geared for professional photographers and photo enthusiasts alike, ProShow Web is designed to create a video from users’ photos, video clips and music in just a few steps.
New ProShow Web features allow users to set a custom time for any effect in a slideshow, giving them the ability to determine how long a photo, video clip or text slide appears on the screen, as well as add descriptive captions to photos and clips. They can select from dozens of effects to stylize and animate the captions. And, ProShow Web can import the captions on users’ Facebook and Instagram photos automatically.

Other enhancements include the ability to directly import photos and video clips from Dropbox to use in a slideshow, and once a slideshow has been created, it can be saved directly to Dropbox to share; a new widescreen layout offers users an open workspace and resizable dialogs; and additional upgrades like improved music syncing, new effects, favorites, improved show management and show locking.
Plus and Premium ProShow Web subscribers can now create videos in lengths up to 20 minutes long. Videos can be shared online or downloaded as an MPEG-4 video or DVD or Blu-ray ISO files for burning to a disc. Premium subscribers can also create custom themes from a set of effects they choose—a time-saving feature for batch-creating shows with one consistent look.

For unlimited video creation, more options and higher quality downloads, users can upgrade to a Plus ($30/year) or Premium ($150/year) ProShow Web subscription.
