Pictools Adapter for EF/EF-S Lenses to Sony E Mount
The Pictools PTEF-SE-AF is a lens adapter that attaches Canon EOS EF/EF-S lenses to Sony NEX/E-mount type bodies. It provides autofocus via electronic contacts, which also transmit exposure/aperture data to the Sony NEX camera body. Features include: metal construction; compatibility with Sony a7 cameras; support for Sony full-frame cameras; image files record shooting information by an EOS lens; as well as a removable tripod mount. The Pictools 5-in-1 reflector kit is geared for use in the field as well as in the studio. It provides shadow-lightening detail on subjects using available and/or studio lighting. In addition, photographers can use the reversible slipcover to reflect light into the shadowed areas of a subject. They can also use the translucent white disc to soften direct sun or undiffused lights. The 42-inch disc is perfect for ¾-length portraits and medium-size still life setups. PTFBD80 & PTFBD120 Folding Beauty Dish
Pictools’ foldable beauty dish kit includes grid and Speedlite brackets. With heavy-duty construction, the setup and break down of the beauty dish are said to be “a proverbial snap with the 16 spring-loaded ribs versus the more common 8 ribs used by most brands.” The ribs are held in place by a steel base with a Bowens-compatible speed ring. The quality of the light can be adjusted from high contrast to soft, thanks to the combination of a silver interior and the white reflector disc. Softer lighting is possible by attaching the included diffusion panel.
Directional control of the light is accomplished using the included grid that attaches to the provided Velcro lip. Also in the kit is a Bowens mount to attach a compatible studio light or the included Bowens Speedlite mount. The beauty dish folds to store in an included carrying case. PTSLK80 Speedlite Lighting Kit
The Pictools Speedlite lighting kit, PTSLK80, gives Speedlite photographers the ability to generate high output normally associated with a mono light, using their existing Speedlites. The portable kit provides a tri-flash bracket to permit the mounting of up to three Speedlites on the included light stand. Also included is a 31-inch silver-lined Octa umbrella soft box that mounts directly to the tri-flash bracket. The soft box can be angled to suit the situation, while the silver lining maximizes the output of the flashes.
