Port Washington, NY—The NPD Group, a leading market research company, announced a multiyear information-sharing agreement with Adorama, a leading photo specialty retailer.

Under the agreement, NPD will receive point-of-sale data from Adorama, which will increase NPD’s tracking coverage of the imaging retail market and provide its partners with a more robust view of market activity. As a member of NPD’s retail panel, Adorama will receive access to NPD’s information services for product categories such as digital cameras, imaging accessories and consumer electronics. Adorama will become part of NPD’s panel in 2012.
