New York, NY—Emerald Expositions announced the lineup of featured keynote presenters for this year’s PhotoPlus International Conference + Expo. The event takes place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, October 25–28, 2017.

Education has always been the cornerstone of PhotoPlus. It has always enabled attendees to participate in hands-on seminars and photo walks, as well as to hear stories of success. This year’s conference will be no exception. The show’s organizers announced the lineup of keynote speakers at PhotoPlus Expo 2017 can collectively be summarized in three words: dedication, passion and inspiration.

The lunchtime keynote presentations will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 pm. Registration   is required and seats are limited.
PhotoPlus-Expo-Logo“We are very excited about this year’s lineup of keynote presentations as well as the inspiration each is expected to provide to attendees,” said Lauren Wendle, vice president and publisher, Photo+. “Education comes in all forms, including personal experiences shared by our keynote speakers. And we expect attendees to walk away with a clearer sense of how these experiences can be applied to their own business.”

On October 26, three successful women photographers will share their work. They will also discuss some of the challenges they faced during their rise to the top of a field typically dominated by men. Sue Bryce, Barbara Davidson and LaToya Ruby Frazier are three of the most successful photographers in the industry, regardless of gender. They will share their thoughts on making images that have personal meaning and universal relevance.

In addition, for more than 35 years, renowned street photographer Jamel Shabazz has been making images driven by a mission “to inspire peace and harmony.” In his keynote presentation on October 27, he’ll share the stories behind his most iconic photos. He will also relate his enduring connection to the young people he photographed as well as his commitment to sharing what was best in his community.

PhotoPlus Expo comes to a close on October 28, but not before business entrepreneurs and tech experts Gary Vaynerchuk and Chase Jarvis take the stage. They will discuss and help resolve “real life” business problems from audience participants. They will also create an open dialogue in their unique, interactive keynote presentation.
