Wynit, Inc., announced Wednesday that Robert Scott has joined the company as its new vice president of distribution and logistics. Scott, formerly of Ingram Micro, will supervise operations at three of the company’s warehouses.
Scott was with Ingram for 13 years and managed a facility in Tennessee; he will now supervise warehouses in that state as well as New York and California.
“Bob has experience in a variety of distribution environments,” the company’s executive vice president, Donald F.X. Keegan, said in a statment. Keegan added that he expects Scott to “increase productivity and effective space utilization while improving inventory accuracy.” What do you think about this hire?
