The electronics distributor D&H Distributing announced Monday a transition in its upper management, as Michael and Dan Schwab will assume the role of co-presidents later this year. The Schwab brothers, both of whom are sons of CEO Izzy Schwab and grandsons of founder David Schwab, will succeed Gary Brothers, who will become president emeritus.

Brothers had been president of the company since 1999, while Michael Schwab was previously vice president of purchasing and Dan Schwab was vice president of marketing. Izzy Schwab will continue in his role as CEO of D&H, while Jeff Davis will be promoted to senior vice president of sales.

“I’ll be making the change-over at D&H with an extremely strong management team in place, one that has terrific opportunities in front of it,” Brothers said in a statement issued by the company. “I’m fully confident that Michael, Dan, Jeff and the rest of the team at D&H will continue the tradition of delivering best-in-class distribution services.” He added that he hopes to spend more time with his family, as well as on the golf course.

The company also announced that Rob Eby will replace Michael Schwab as vice president of purchasing, while Mary Campbell will succeed Dan Schwab as vice president of marketing. D&H this year is celebrating its 90th anniversary.
