CES Innovations Awards.
The Innovations Design and Engineering Awards have given consumer technology manufacturers and developers an opportunity to have their newest products judged by a panel of independent industrial designers, independent engineers and members of the press. It’s the place to see, touch, feel and understand the future of consumer technology.

The Best of Innovations designation is awarded to products with the highest judges’ scores. This year’s honorees will be featured in the Innovations Design and Engineering Awards Showcase in the Venetian at the 2013 International CES.

Best Shots. On January 11, the winners of the Best Shots contest will be announced at PMA@CES, located in the LVH. CEA in partnership with Eye-Fi, maker of the world’s first wireless memory card, will announce winners of the fourth annual Best Shots digital photo contest. Photos were submitted in four categories: people, travel, pets and smartphone shots. All photo entries will be displayed in the Best Shots area within the PMA@CES exhibits at the LVH. A slate of expert judges will select finalists from each category. Winners will then be chosen via an online vote that runs during CES.

PMA@CES Retailer Hot Picks. One of the most interactive and useful sessions for photo retailers is back by popular demand. PMA assigned a cadre of reporters to scour the show floor to find the cutest, quirkiest and coolest photo-related products that could help you differentiate your product offerings at very good margins. All you have to do is sign up for this session to get the inside scoop. The session will be held January 9, 2013, 2:15 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. Track: Retailer Strategy, ID PMA10.
