Minneapolis, MN—Best Buy is taking another step aimed at reinvigorating its customer experience by reinventing its Reward Zone loyalty program and replacing it with a bigger program: My Best Buy.
The new program offers more rewards; members will continue to get one point per $1 spent and 5% back on their Best Buy credit card, plus the new program will include additional rewards like free bonus points for ‘checking in’ at a Best Buy store. As members move up in the program’s tiers, more rewards are added, like free shipping on $25 purchases and extended return periods.
Reward Zone members will also get exclusive privileges, like early access to sales and promotions starting in time for the holiday season. In addition, My Best Buy will feature more mobile options; members will receive new ways to engage with Best Buy through their mobile devices and will get special promo offers via Best Buy’s mobile app.
For existing Reward Zone members, their points, certificates and member IDs will automatically transfer to My Best Buy. And with more than 40 million active members, it is currently among the largest loyalty programs of its kind. bestbuy.com
