Melville, NY—Canon collaborated with studio automation equipment maker StyleShoots to bring the Canon EOS R full-frame mirrorless system to StyleShoots’ lineup of photography and video equipment. This will allow a global audience to capture millions of photos and terabytes of videos for fashion e-commerce.
“Canon’s EOS R, with fewer moving parts compared to a traditional DSLR-type camera, is perfect for our automated photography setups; where flawless continuous operation is essential,” said Anders Jorgensen, head of Product and Marketing for StyleShoots. 
The Netherlands-based company worked closely with Canon’s teams for months. The goal was to integrate the EOS R camera into its line of automated robotic photo studio equipment. As a result, the full-frame mirrorless camera is controlled at the lowest level via an exclusive-access version of Canon’s EOS Digital SDK.

The Canon EOS R is a full-frame interchangeable-lens mirrorless camera with 30.3 megapixel resolution and 4K video capabilities.
