Digital SLR consumers now are more likely than ever to be purchasing a model for the first time with high-definition (HD) video recording capability. January 2010 marked the highest recorded level of HD video in the detachable-lens camera category. Among recent DSLR buyers who are using their cameras’ video function, they are more likely than average both to be viewing their cameras’ HD video on their TVs as well as editing their videos, showing a passion for creative video expression.
