For Beginners to Pro, Nikon School Classes Offer New Techniques

Melville, NY—Nikon Inc. launched Nikon School Online, featuring educational photography and video online classes to help storytellers improve their skills. The courses are geared for photographers of of every level.

The online courses expand on the existing nationwide Nikon School program. Additionally, they enable amateurs, enthusiasts and professionals to learn new techniques. Furthermore, they can expand their skills from any computer, tablet or smartphone at online.nikonschool.com.

Nikon School Online will initially host three classes to teach new skills, expand creativity and allow students to challenge themselves to take better photos and videos. In addition, more offerings will come in the future.

Two new classes will feature prominent professional photographers, including Nikon Ambassadors Joe McNally and Tamara Lackey. They will lend their expertise to help users take their photography to the next level through easy-to-follow lessons.

Hands-On with the SB-5000 Speedlight. Viewers can discover new lighting possibilities with Nikon Ambassador and creative lighting master Joe McNally.

The online video class details the key features of Nikon’s newest Speedlight, the SB-5000. The class provides quick in-studio lessons detailing on-camera flash, bounce flash, off-camera flash and radio control flash. McNally will then showcase how he uses the SB-5000 in the field. In addition, he will offer tips for creating dazzling images in even the most challenging lighting scenarios.

In addition, for a limited time (through September 30, 2016), U.S. customers who register their select Nikon Speedlight(s) will receive a special code to access Hands-On with the SB-5000 Speedlight online course.

U.S. customers who have already registered a select Nikon Speedlight will also receive a redemption code via e-mail.
