Tampa, FL—Zoner Inc. introduced the Zoner Photo Cloud as part of the summer update to its Zoner Photo Studio X software program. The photo managing/editing/sharing ZPS X now includes a photography-focused, personal online storage element that provides 5 gigabytes (GB) of free storage.
Zoner Photo Cloud was developed to work specifically with photos, but users can add files of any type to this cloud. Moreover, they can edit RAW files directly on Zoner Photo Cloud and upload videos directly to it in any format. Text files and audio files can also be uploaded.
In addition, users can operate with Zoner Photo Cloud as they would with any disk or hard drive. When working in the cloud, ZPS X only downloads what the user needs (like previews or descriptions) and uses caching. Moreover, editing cloud photos is just the same as if they were stored on the user’s hard drive, and there’s no need to keep a copy of the images on the drive.
Additional Zoner Photo Cloud Functionality
Zoner Photo Cloud takes advantage of the optimizations in ZPS X for nondestructive edits. ZPS X does need to download a photo in full, and when the editing is done it only has to upload information about the adjustments that were made. The cloud also supports classical editing in ZPS X’s editor.
Furthermore, while not focused on publishing photos for sharing with the world, folders in Zoner Photo Cloud can be shared with predetermined ZPS X users. These folders can have size limits, so users can control the space they have purchased.
In addition, all data transfers are SSL-encrypted and secured against eavesdropping. Users—and everyone they have shared folders with—have access to their data via Zoner Photo Studio X. This eliminates data leaks via third-party applications and prevents ransomware risks. Moreover, a recycle bin protects against accidental deletion. Files can be recovered from the bin for up to 30 days.
Zone Photo Cloud data is stored on servers in the Czech Republic at several separate storage points in the secure server rooms of the company’s sister division Czechia. This division has 20 years of experience in providing web and cloud services.

Every Zoner Photo Studio X subscriber receives an unlimited-time basic plan with 5GB of space for free. Plans with higher capacities can be purchased from inside ZPS X. The company offers the following plans: 50GB plan, $4.99/month; 200GB, $9.99/month; 500GB, $14.99/month; and 1TB, $19.99/month.
