Nazdar Digital Printing Ink Manufacturer Appoints Two Presidents

Shawnee, KS—Nazdar, screen and digital printing ink manufacturer and imaging supplies provider, appointed new presidents for two of its three business units. Peter Walsh was named president of distribution unit Nazdar SourceOne, and Richard Bowles was named president of the ink manufacturing unit, Nazdar Ink Technologies.

In his new role, Walsh is charged with developing strategic plans and providing leadership and vision to the functional areas of SourceOne for future growth and market expansion. These include partnering with leading global suppliers to provide best-in-class solutions for specialty graphic printers in the United States, Mexico and Central America. Walsh joined Nazdar in 1992 after serving as president of TAS, USA, a major international screen printing textile equipment manufacturer.

SourceOne supplies digital graphics imaging equipment, inks, media and supplies, including wide-format digital printers from Epson, Roland, HP, Océ, VUTEk and Lyson digital inks.

In his new role, Bowles will develop strategic sales, marketing, manufacturing, R&D, customer care, quality and continuous improvement plans to enable Nazdar Ink Technologies to achieve objectives for growth and profitability. Bowles joined Nazdar in 2002 as vice president of marketing, and since 2005 has served as vice president and general manager of Nazdar Ink Technologies.
