Lewis Center, OH—With the new Peanuts movie coming to theaters in 2015, Emtec is paying tribute to the iconic Peanuts gang characters with a collectible line of 3D USB flash drives.

Made out of soft-touch rubber material, the new USB 2.0 drive range welcomes Lucy, Woodstock, Snoopy and Charlie Brown—all available in 8-gigabyte storage capacities.

To ensure Snoopy and his gang won’t get lost, an included beaded chain allows the flash drives to be attached to a bag or case. The cap holder also ensures that the character’s body won’t get lost while the USB drive is plugged in.

“Whatever the technology or the media,” the company comment, “Emtec commits to providing hassle-free, creative and stylish solutions that make technology easy to use and serve our consumers’ memories, ideas and emotions.”

Emtec’s Peanuts gang flash drives offer read speeds up to 18MB/sec and write speeds of 5MB/sec. They are universally compatible USB 2.0 devices that support Windows 8, 7, Vista, XP, Me, 2000, Mac OS X and Linux 2.6x. The flash drives retail for $12.99.

The Emtec brand was launched from a company steeped in experience—BASF, the inventor of the first magnetic tape for audio recording and a pioneer in the media industry. Turning the company's focus to mobile storage products, the Emtec brand became successful in Europe; by 2006, it was the number-one selling brand of flash drives in France and the number-three in Europe for five years. Today Emtec is distributed in more than 50 countries and prides itself on a 75-year history of “creating innovative products that embody the human spirit: to preserve, protect and share the most valuable moments of daily life.” emtec-international.com
