Upper Saddle River, NJ—The Manfrotto Manhattan camera bag collection launched, designed for today’s busy city dwellers with a passion for photography. Manfrotto is a manufacturer of photo, video and lighting support products and accessories.

The lifestyle bag collection is targeted at amateur and advanced hobbyist photographers who shoot with a DSLR and/or a mirrorless camera with multiple lenses. The bags are built to support city lifestyles as well as to adapt to keep an array of camera kits safe.

The Manhattan collection comprises three models: a backpack; a three-way shoulder bag; and a messenger bag. All three are designed to blend in with city life—from the daily commute to the office and back, and all of the photo shoots in between. “Experience sleek city chic; these bags are the perfect companion to take with you for an early morning meeting to a night on the town,” announced Manfrotto.

Manfrotto’s Manhattan bag range was created with attention to aesthetics. The bags are made of high-quality, resistant ballistic fabric, premium zippers and pullers engineered for prolonged use. The coated material on the bottom of the bags can be wiped clean. The external fabric is water repellent, and a rain protector is also supplied.

Each of the camera bags includes interchangeable dividers, a padded media compartment, hidden pockets, multipurpose webbing and straps to secure items. Tripods, a helmet, a jacket and other bulky items can be accommodated. They also have tripod connections hidden underneath and nonslip bumpers for extra stability.

A new, removable camera insert safeguards gear at the center of each of the bags. It is secured inside the bag with Velcro straps. The photography insert comes out if not needed. In addition, Manfrotto’s new Flexy camera shell divider system combines protection with flexibility, securing most of today’s DSLR and mirrorless interchangeable-lens models. The dividers provide the option to fold out of the way when needed or to be pulled out to protect equipment in special situations.

“There’s never a need to change camera bags to accommodate different types of photography gear: simply shape the ultra-versatile dividers according to your choice of kit and you’re ready to go in an instant,” the company added.

Furthermore, the bag transforms into a different type of carrying solution to fit photographers’ changing needs. If a standard shoulder bag is needed, they can attach the provided shoulder strap to the external ring.

Also, if a photographer is carrying a lot of weight and wants to move faster and more comfortably, the shoulder straps can be removed from the back pocket and attached to the bottom rings to convert it into a backpack. It can also function as a tote by taking the handles out of the side pockets. SRP: $119.99.
