Shoulderpod, made in Barcelona, Spain, is a modular system designed to enable users to start building small with one of the basic configurations and grow with additional accessories. P1 – Long Plate
This attachment plate for mounting accessories is machined from DIN-6082-T6 black anodized aluminum to protect it from corrosion. It is also finished in natural wood for a non-scratching surface.
The Long Plate includes four 1/4″–20 threaded holes and one open groove. Designed to work with the Shoulderpod K1 (not included), it allows mounting the H1 for handheld use. It can also be mounted on a tripod though one of the four threaded holes. P1 has a suggested retail price of $34.99.
P2 – Short Plate
This attachment plate is also machined from DIN-6082-T6 black anodized aluminum and finished natural wood for providing a non-scratching surface. It includes two 1/4″–20 threaded holes. Also designed to work with the Shoulderpod K1 (not included), it enables mounting the H1 for handheld use and can be on a tripod though one of the four threaded holes. SRP:$24.99.
U1 – S1 or S2 to R2 Upgrade Kit
This kit is for upgrading a Shoulderpod S1 or S2 to an R2. All parts are machined in DIN 6082-T6 back anodized aluminum, and the P2 plate is finished in natural wood.
When used with the Shoulderpod S2, users can attach an external microphone, light, action camera or battery to a smartphone camera. The kit includes four parts: one P2 short plate; two K1 knobs and one Z1 cold shoe. SRP: $39.99.
H1 – Handle
The Shoulderpod H1 is a wooden handle for holding a mobile phone securely. The handle is crafted in Sapeli wood and finished with rubber pad protectors on both ends. It has a 1/4″–20 screw at the top end and a 1/4″–20 threaded hole at the bottom.
Furthermore, is ergonomic shape is designed to make the handle comfortable to hold, even during long video shoots.
The handle works with the G1. In addition, it is also included with the S2, R2 and X1 Shoulderpod accessories. SRP: $19.99.
Z1 – Cold Shoe
The Shoulderpod Z1 is a standard cold shoe for mounting lights and also microphones to the R1 phone rig. Machined from aerospace aluminum and anodized in matte black, it includes a 1/4″–20 threaded hole for mounting it on the R1 or on the H1. The Z1 is included in the R2 pocket rig as well as the X1 pro rig. SRP: $13.99.
K1 – Knob
The Shoulderpod K1 knob is designed for working with the R1 Go and R1 pro rigs. In addition, the long neck allows holding 1/4″–20 threaded accessories through the 8mm thick aluminum R1 plates. Moreover, machined from aerospace aluminum and anodized in matte black, it includes a soft rubber pad for protecting gear from scratches.
In the box is one knob with 1/4″–20 stud as well as female thread made in aluminum with rubber pad protectors. In addition, the K1 is already included in the R2 pocket rig (two units), in the X1 pro rig (three units) and in the U1 K (two units). SRP: $11.99.
W1 – Wrist Strap
