Ridgefield Park, NJ—Polaroid added six accessories and mounts for its Polaroid Cube lifestyle action video cameras. The lineup is designed to provide consumers with more unique perspectives for capturing and sharing life’s moments.
The new accessories for the compact, 35mm square body of the Cube and Wi-Fi enabled Cube+ take advantage of the cameras’ built-in magnets. They include the following.
Cube Eye Mount. Built with a strong suction cup, the mount adheres Polaroid Cube action cameras to glass or other smooth surfaces. The accessory allows for front, rear or side mounting for differing perspectives.
Cube Plate Mount. The slim, discrete plate mount is designed to allow users to mount their Cube or Cube+ to almost any flat nonmetal surface. Ideal for a car dash, shelf, table or desk, the adhesive enables hands-free filming. The plate mount has an integrated magnet mount to provide more stability.
Cube Flexi-pod. Featuring five legs and crafted from flexible stainless steel wrapped in
silicone, the flexi-pod is lightweight, pliable and built to be durable. It can be used to hold, wrap, prop or hang Polaroid Cube cameras from almost anywhere. Nonslip dots and metal mounts for the cameras’ built-in magnets help ensure a secure hold. At 2.6 ounces, the Flexi-pod folds for storage in a bag or purse.
Cube Sticky Mount. This accessory was developed to work with the Cube’s waterproof case. The base includes double-sided self-adhesive for attachment to nearly any flat surface, such as surfboards and other sports equipment.
The sticky mount also has a connected lanyard for added protection in case of detachment.
Cube Shot Glass. The Cube’s shot glass accessory is made from plastic, and the bottom of the glass features a camera holder. Users can attach the Cube to the glass to capture gatherings and parties from a completely new point of view.
Cube Magnet Mount. This mount turns the Cube or Cube+ into a selfie camera. It fits all standard ¼-inch 20 tripods or monopods and connects to the action cams using their built-in magnets.

The Cube and Cube+ lifestyle action video cameras can capture 6 or 8 megapixel still images and Full HD 1080p or 1440p video at 30 frames per second, respectively—with one-button operation. The cameras have a memory slot to record up to 64GB on the Cube or 128GB on the Polaroid Cube+ using a microSD card (Class 10). Users can record up to 107 minutes of HD 720p video at 60 fps thanks to the cam’s battery. Both cameras are mountable, shockproof, weatherproof and splash resistant.
