Concord, NC—DNP Imagingcomm America Corporation (DNP IAM) released two new technical software updates: the Hot Folder Print Utility v2.3 and the PrinterInfo 1.2.1.1.
DNP’s free Hot Folder Print Utility is designed as an easy-to-use utility that enables printing on DNP’s dye-sublimation printers. Improvements in version 2.3 include more flexible color profile assignment. Moreover, it provides increased reliability when using multiple printers and improved handling of low media situations when printing panoramic photos.

In addition to launching the HFP Utility update, DNP also released an update for the PrinterInfo status and reporting application. The PrinterInfo app is a stand-alone status tool that is used to pull and report data from DNP printing systems. The app provides detailed status information. This includes such as data as the size of media loaded in each printer, the amount of media remaining in each printer and the printer life counter.
