Nikon School Theater Hosts Presentations by World-Class Photographers

Las Vegas, NV—From Nikkor lenses and the D5600 DSLR to Nikon 1 cameras, Coolpix compacts and sport optics, CES attendees were invited to go hands-on with Nikon products in the LVCC, Central Hall, Booth 14117.

Visitors were also invited to explore interactive areas throughout the show floor. These include a 360/VR experience showcasing content captured with KeyMission action cameras as well as a demonstration of robotic integration.

The company again partnered with the Big Freeze to bring Project HeliX back to its CES booth. The unique photo experience captures visitors in 360º variations. Additionally, the company is hosting presentations at the Nikon School Theater. This area features demonstrations with Nikon photographers, including Nikon Ambassadors and Nikon professional photographers.

Nikon CES Product Introductions

The company announced the U.S. availability of the compact, lightweight Nikon D5600 connected DSLR camera. The step-up model will be marketed to consumers looking to “unleash their inner artist.”

The company also introduced two additions to its Coolpix compact, point-and-shoot camera line—the W100 and A300.

Waterproof, shockproof and freezeproof, the family-friendly Coolpix W100 helps snapshooters capture images worry-free. The camera also supports SnapBridge to allow for seamless connectivity and social sharing. Other features include a 13.2 megapixel sensor, a 3x optical zoom Nikkor lens and Full HD video capability.

The ultrathin Coolpix A300 is a compact, lightweight slim zoom model designed for high-res photo capture as well as HD video recording. It features a 20.1MP sensor, an 8x optical zoom lens and also vibration reduction (VR) image stabilization. It also offers connectivity and sharing via SnapBridge.

Furthermore, a complete program of innovative, educational content was available throughout CES 2017 at the Nikon School Theater.
