Oakland, CA—Mobile Photo Connect, an annual conference for the mobile imaging industry, announced three key innovations for its 2017 edition. New to the conference are an “umbrella” focus on monetization, an expanded schedule and an Early Bird VIP Networking program for attendees who register by June 30.

The conference, now a day and a half, will take place October 24–25, 2017 in San Francisco, California. It will be held at the San Francisco Presidio Golden Gate Club. In addition, the impact on monetization opportunities will be an important theme. It will be reflected throughout various panel discussions on leading-edge mobile imaging technologies and emerging user behavior trends.

“While we are committed to offering once again a stellar lineup of innovative and thought-provoking presenters from the mobile photo and video space, the conference is more than an educational event,” said Hans Hartman, conference chair. “We specifically have the word ‘Connect” in the conference title to emphasize that attendees can make valuable connections at the conference and build partnerships with fellow senior imaging visitors. It is no surprise that several of our presenters were subsequently acquired.”

The conference was expanded from a single day program to allow for more sessions and more networking time. Mobile Photo Connect 2017 will kick off with an afternoon program on October 24. It will continue with a networking reception as well as a full-day program on October 25.

Early Bird VIP Networking

Early Bird VIP attendees will enjoy an exclusive networking breakfast. They will have the opportunity to meet with their VIP colleagues in a dedicated lounge. In addition, they will get published on the conference’s VIP Connect with Me page. Furthermore, they will have priority placement of their apps’ video trailers on the conference attendee app page.

These Early Bird VIP registrants will also have an extra opportunity to be selected for the coveted 30-app Show & Tell demo slots. Furthermore, a special jury will select four Mobile Photo Connect Awards winners from those slots.

“We are very pleased that with our Early Bird VIP program we’re taking the networking value for early registrants to an even higher level,” added Hartman.
