New York, NY—Gary Fong, CEO of GFIP Holdings LLC, a photographic lighting accessories manufacturer and educational resource, announced that he would be taking an equity stake in Snapshots. He will also assume a position on Snapshots board of directors.
The Snapshots platform gives professional photographers the ability to upload, store, share and organize their images in the cloud. The stored images can also be displayed on the web, on mobile devices and on televisions. The platform supports ordering prints and the collaboration between professional and guest-shot images in a unified gallery. Snapshots combines a marketing tool aspect for wedding vendors with wedding guest interaction and social media elements.

Retiring after 20 years of photographing more than 1,000 weddings, he went on to start a number of multimillion-dollar businesses, including Pictage Inc. and the Gary Fong lighting accessories product line.
