Upper Saddle River, NJ—The Vitec Photographic Division—designer, manufacturer and distributor of equipment to professional and nonprofessional image takers—acquired Xume Adapters. The U.S.-based company offers a range of quick-release magnetic adapters that allow photographers to quickly connect filters to their lenses.

The Xume product lineup complements the current range of Manfrotto filters, which includes a choice of UV, CPL and ND filters for professionals and nonprofessional image makers. Made in Japan, Manfrotto filters are engineered to be scratch resistant and provide a high degree of protection to photography and videography equipment. And, each Manfrotto filter features a multicoating process to minimize reflections and maximize light transmission.
