Chandler, AZ—For the fourth year in a row, C.R.I.S. (Camera Repair Instrument Service, was awarded a spot on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private companies in America. The list includes some of the most iconic names in American commerce, and to win the award for four consecutive years is a significant accomplishment, particularly given the recent recession.

C.R.I.S., now in its 26th year, provides factory repair services and third-party logistics for offshore manufacturers such as Pentax and Ricoh, and serves as an outsource repair center to photo retailers nationwide. The company also specializes in the sale of test equipment and instruments to the digital imaging service industry.

CEO Mark Treadwell credits his company’s steady growth rate (63% over the past three years alone) to a company-wide focus on customer service—both to consumers requiring camera repair and to original equipment manufacturers. “We are committed to customer service; it is a living, breathing function within our organization,” said Treadwell.

He also attributes much of the company’s long-term success to the value placed on relationships with Asian-based OEMs. Added Treadwell, “The foundation of C.R.I.S. is built upon our ability to provide services that allow foreign manufacturers to replicate their domestic infrastructure in the U.S. Our growth potential lies in our ability to provide a very high level of customer service with some of the deepest experience in the industry.”

C.R.I.S. is increasing its focus on Asian manufacturers who are finding the cost of setting up or maintaining their own U.S.-based service departments to be prohibitive. It provides complete service department functions for these companies on an as-needed, fee-schedule basis. criscam.com
