PIR's November 2012 Tech Trends: Gender Preferences for Compact System Cameras

When introduced to the concept of a mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera, females were more likely than males to be interested in purchasing one. But when the price point reaches $500, that interest declined more dramatically among women than among men. And overall, men were more interested than they were in 2010.
